Dear Prospective Member,
Do you ride down the road and see the groups go by that are wearing the Harley Owners Group patches? Do you see them at multiple motorcycle functions always smiling and having a good time? Do you see them riding as a group, always in formation and always looking out for their brother and sister riders? Do you wonder, "How I can become a part of that?"
 First, let me tell you a little about the group you are inquiring about. HOG (Harley Owners Group) is over a Million Members Strong and active in over 60 countries World Wide. We are more than a Motorcycle club, we are a Family and we share our Passion for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and the sport of Motorcycling along with the life style that has been created throughout the world.
Our Mission is to provide members with a means to "Ride and Have Fun". That is the one phrase and thought that drives every decision and activity in this club. We take this very seriously. We also sponsor charities in the local area, organize: runs, rally’s and "get lost" rides; whatever it takes to get the Ride and Have Fun motto out to all riders and the community.
So come on, join Hartford HOG today and become a member of one of the largest chapters in the state. Hartford HOG is a very active chapter and we are always looking for new members to join us on rides and various other events throughout the riding and non riding seasons. That is correct; we are a year round active club with activities through the non riding months also.
Remember, everything at Hartford HOG is done on a volunteer basis. Nothing gets done with out your help. So once you join let us know to what degree you wish to be involved. From a member to a Chapter Officer, all activities need people to step up and help make it happen. So I invite you to come on out and get involved. This group only survives and prospers due to its members’ involvement. So as they say, you will never know until you try... Come on out! Join us at Hartford Hog and discover that your motorcycle can be a lot of fun riding in a group and cruising down the highway.
Our chapter meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

Membership
Whether you are a renewing member or new to the club we welcome you and request your input and participation to make Hartford H.O.G. the best it can be. Below are the guidelines for joining a local H.O.G. chapter according to National H.O.G. Please read over this information, print out both forms (see below), complete each form with all appropriate information and return them along with a check made out to "Hartford H.O.G.".
Local Chapter Membership Guidelines
- A new chapter membership enrollment and release form must be completed each year
- A separate form is needed for each additional member, whether they are a Full or Associate member
- Only current National H.O.G. members may join a local chapter
- National membership will be verified prior to accepting local membership
- Local membership must match National membership (Full or Associate)
An expired national membership automatically terminates local chapter membership as well as any associated memberships. The sponsoring dealer has the right to suspend or revoke the membership of any chapter member should his/her conduct be deemed undesirable.
Currently the dues for Hartford H.O.G. are; Full member $20.00 per year and Associate Members* are $5.00 per year.
*Associate Members must be a National H.O.G. member and complete a Chapter membership enrollment/release form.
If you join Hartford H.O.G. in the month of October or later your dues will cover the following year as well. However, everyone needs to fill out a chapter membership enrollment and release from at the beginning of each year in January.
